Basic Requirements

Engineering background Systematic, analytical thinking Microservices architecture and patterns Distributed systems Load balancing, high availability Linux knowledge (console, scripting, monitoring, debugging) Basic IT-Security and certificate management knowledge Sound knowledge of network architecture and protocols (WebSockets, TCP, UPD, DNS, SNMP)

Who should you be
apart from exceptional
Holder of (at least) a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or have an equivalent (2+ years), demonstrable, relevant work experience Spirited, energetic, easy-going person Highly motivated continuous-learner Interested in Internet of Things, gadgets, and technology in general Fluent in English, any other languages are an asset and can be put to good use

Take on responsibility for availability and troubleshooting of LORIOT systems Manage our global server infrastructure (web, DNS, applications, databases, load balancers) Continuously improve our monitoring system, deployment processes, operations tools and underlying infrastructure Professionally report to management and communicate effectively Participate in improving detailed technical and functional documentation Play active role in the agile development team Assess feasibility of projects and customer requirements Work with software development team to assure optimal design of our services for production
